Malwa Belt Framing Canada Inc. frames residential, multi family and commercial buildings across the Edmonton region. Plates, studs, headers and openings, set to the drawings and square for every trade that follows.
Residential, multi family and commercial, new build and renovation. Whatever is on the drawings, we set it plumb, square and ready for the trades behind us.
Production homes and one off custom builds. Floor systems, walls, beams, stairs, trusses, roofs and sheathing, all handled by our own crews.
Houses & custom builds D-02Party walls, fire separations and repeated units, where a few millimetres of drift compounds all the way down the row.
Duplex & multi-unit D-03Engineered beams, point loads and tall walls. Anything where the drawing carries a stamp gets built to the detail, not an interpretation of it.
Stamped drawings D-04Developing a basement in a house that is already lived in. Walls set off out of level floors without the finish ever showing it.
Existing homes D-05Attached and detached. Long clear spans, tall door openings and trusses carrying Alberta snow load with no wall down the middle.
Attached & detached D-06Ledgers, beams, joists and footings. The part nobody photographs, and the only part that decides whether it is still solid in fifteen years.
Structure first D-08Retail, office and commercial builds. Longer spans, tighter schedules and a frame that has to suit the trades and the inspection process behind it.
Retail & office D-07Tying new structure into a house that has already settled and moved. The joint between old and new is where an addition gets judged.
Old to newEvery trade after us works off what we leave behind. Out of square framing does not stay a framing problem. It becomes a drywall problem, then a cabinet problem, then an argument.
Over a decade of hands on experience framing residential projects across Alberta. Learned on site, not managed from an office.
Floor systems, walls, beams, stairs, trusses, roofs and sheathing, all handled by our crews. Nothing awkward gets subbed out.
Precision workmanship backed by schedule focused execution. The trade behind us is not standing around waiting on us.
From production homes to custom and multi family projects, we are equipped for demanding framing rather than just the straightforward jobs.
Our responsibility does not end when the framing is complete. If something needs looking at later, we come back and look at it.
Four steps, no mystery. You know what happens next and roughly when.
Email the plan set or call and describe the job. We review scope, spans and openings before quoting anything.
We walk the site, confirm access and staging, then put a written number in front of you with the scope spelled out.
Crew on site, material staged, walls up. We flag anything on the drawings that will not work in the field as we hit it.
We walk the frame with you before the next trade starts. Anything that needs adjusting gets adjusted while we are still on site.
Straight from Google. We have not written a word of these.

It depends on the size of the structure and the weather. A single family house is usually a couple of weeks of framing once material is on site. Duplex and multi family work runs longer. We give you a timeline with the quote, and we tell you if something changes it.
Send us the plan set you already have. We frame to the drawings. If something on them will not work in the field, we raise it with you before it gets built rather than after, which is a much cheaper conversation to have early.
Email them to malwabeltframing@gmail.com. Plan sets are usually too large to attach to a web form, so email is the reliable route. Send the quote request through the form as well so we have your details, and reference your name in the email.
The complete frame. Floor systems, walls, beams, stairs, trusses, roofs and sheathing are all handled by our own crews. Nothing gets subbed out to another company partway through, so there is one crew responsible for the whole structure and one number to call if anything needs looking at afterward.
Edmonton and the surrounding communities, including Leduc, Beaumont, Spruce Grove, Devon and Calmar. Each of those has its own page on this site. If your site is a reasonable drive from Edmonton and it is not listed, call and ask rather than assuming.
Yes. Duplex, townhome and multi family framing is regular work, along with structural and engineered framing where the drawings carry a stamp. We are set up for demanding builds rather than only straightforward single family projects, and we will tell you honestly at the quote stage if a job is outside what our crews should be taking on.
Fastest way to get a number is a phone call with the drawings in front of you. The form works too.
Thanks. We will get back to you shortly. If it is urgent, call 587.938.6601. Plan sets can be emailed to malwabeltframing@gmail.com.
